Frequently asked questions

Are these the rates my bank will give me?

No. They are mid-market reference rates for information only. Banks, cards and money transfer services add a margin and fees, so the amount you receive will differ. This is not financial advice.

How often are rates updated?

Reference rates are typically published once per business day. The rate date and the time they were fetched are shown with every result.

What happens if I am offline?

The converter uses the last rates saved on your device and tells you when they were last updated. If none are saved, you can enter an exchange rate manually.

Can I use my own exchange rate?

Yes. Turn on "Use my own exchange rate" and enter how many units of the target currency one unit of the source currency buys.
