Frequently asked questions
What is an EMI?
An equated monthly instalment is the fixed amount you pay every month on a loan. Early payments are mostly interest; later payments are mostly principal.
Does a longer tenure cost more?
Usually yes. A longer tenure lowers the EMI but you pay interest for more months, so the total interest is higher.
Why might my lender's EMI be slightly different?
Lenders may add processing fees or insurance, round differently, or calculate interest daily. Results are estimates for planning and education, not financial advice.
