Frequently asked questions
Where is my budget stored?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device. It is not uploaded, so clearing browser data or using another device will not show it.
What is the 50/30/20 rule?
A simple guideline: about 50% of take-home income for needs, 30% for wants and 20% for savings and extra debt repayment. It is a starting point, not a strict rule.
How is the savings rate calculated?
Savings-category lines plus any money left over, divided by total income. Results are estimates for planning and education, not financial advice.
