How is the age calculated?
Full years are counted first, then full months, then the remaining days, borrowing the correct number of days from the previous calendar month.
What if I was born on 29 February?
In years without 29 February the next birthday is treated as 1 March, which is the common legal convention.
Can I calculate age on a past or future date?
Yes. Change the "Age on" field to any date after the date of birth.
Is my date of birth saved?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to our servers.
