Frequently asked questions

Are public holidays excluded from business days?

No. Only the weekend days you select are excluded. Subtract public holidays yourself, as they differ by country and year.

Should I include the end date?

By default the result counts the days between the dates, so 1–2 October is 1 day. Tick "Include the end date" to count both days, which suits leave or rental periods.

What happens when I add a month to 31 January?

The date is clamped to the last day of February (28th, or 29th in leap years), the same rule most spreadsheets use.

Can I set a Friday and Saturday weekend?

Yes. Choose "Friday + Saturday" for Bangladesh and the Gulf, or pick custom weekend days.
