Countdown Timer

Create a live countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds to an event such as a launch, exam or holiday, or run a simple duration timer like 10 minutes. Save several countdowns in your browser, get a chime and optional notification when time is up, and share a link that opens the same countdown for anyone.

How to use the Countdown Timer

1. Choose Count down to a date, or Duration timer.
2. Enter a title and the date and time, or a duration such as 10:00 or 1h 30m.
3. Press Start; optionally press Save to keep the countdown.
4. Copy the share link to send the countdown to others.

Which time zone is the target in?

You pick the date and time in your device’s local time zone. The share link stores the exact moment, so someone in another time zone counts down to the same instant.

Are saved countdowns synced between devices?

No. They are kept in this browser only. Use the share link to open a countdown on another device.

Will I be alerted if the tab is in the background?

If you allow notifications, yes. The chime also plays, but some browsers mute audio in background tabs.
