Feet to Pixel Converter

Set the drawing scale as a ratio (1:50, 1:100) or as "1 inch = N feet", choose the DPI or PPI of your image or screen, and convert a real-world length to pixels — or measure a length in pixels and get the real dimension back. It also shows the length on paper and how many pixels represent one real foot.

Frequently asked questions

How is the pixel length calculated?

Pixels = real length in inches ÷ scale factor × DPI. At 1:100 and 300 DPI, 25 ft (300 in) becomes 3 in on paper, which is 900 px.

What does 1/8 inch = 1 foot mean in this tool?

It is the same as 1 inch = 8 feet. Choose the "1 inch = N feet" scale type and enter 8.

Which DPI should I use for the screen?

CSS and most Windows displays use 96 px per inch as a reference, but the physical size on a real monitor depends on its pixel density. Measure a known length on your screen to calibrate.
