Frequently asked questions

How are discounts and tax applied?

Each line's discount is taken off first, and tax is then charged on the discounted amount. Shipping is added after tax and is not taxed.

Is my invoice data uploaded?

No. The invoice is built and the PDF is generated in your browser. The draft is saved only in this browser's local storage.

Why does the PDF show "BDT" instead of the taka sign?

The PDF uses a standard built-in font that cannot display some currency symbols such as ৳ or ₹, so the currency code is shown instead to keep the document readable everywhere.

Does it meet my country's invoicing rules?

It covers the usual fields, but legal requirements such as tax registration numbers or wording vary. Add any required details to your business block or notes, and check local rules or with an accountant.
