Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an invoice and a receipt?
An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms that payment was received. Use the Invoice Generator before payment and this tool after.
How is the balance shown when someone pays more than the total?
If the amount paid exceeds the total, the receipt shows the difference as "Change given" instead of a balance due.
Is the tax rate added or included?
The tax rate is added on top of the item prices. If your prices already include tax, leave the rate at 0 and mention the tax in the note.
