PDF Splitter

Break a large PDF into the pieces you need. Split every page into its own file, create one file per range such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, cut it into chunks of N pages, or tick pages on the thumbnail grid to extract them into a single new PDF.

How to use the PDF Splitter

  1. Drop the PDF you want to split.
  2. Choose a mode: by ranges, every page, extract pages or every N pages.
  3. Enter ranges or a chunk size, or select pages on the thumbnails.
  4. Press Split PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write page ranges?

Separate groups with commas. "1-3, 5, 8-10" creates three files. "8-" means page 8 to the last page and "-3" means pages 1 to 3.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.

Why can I not download all files as a ZIP?

The tool runs entirely in your browser, so it offers a button that downloads each file in turn instead of a ZIP archive.
