Frequently asked questions
Which words stay lowercase in Title Case?
Short articles, conjunctions and prepositions such as a, an, the, and, or, of, in, on, to and for stay lowercase unless they are the first or last word or follow a colon. Words already in capitals, like NASA, are kept.
Does Sentence case know about names?
No. Sentence case lowercases everything and capitalises the first letter of each sentence and the word "I". Re-capitalise proper nouns such as names and places afterwards.
How are multi-line texts handled for camelCase or snake_case?
Each line is converted separately, so you can convert a whole list of names at once.
Does it work with accented letters?
Yes. Upper and lower case use Unicode rules, so letters like é, ß and Greek or Cyrillic characters convert correctly.
