Frequently asked questions
Does it change the order of my lines?
No. Lines stay in their original order. With "keep last occurrence" each line appears where its final copy was.
What does "Trim spaces" do?
It removes spaces and tabs at the start and end of every line, so "apple " and "apple" are treated as the same line and the output is tidy.
Can I sort the list as well?
This tool only removes duplicates. Use the Text Sorter afterwards to sort alphabetically or numerically.
